iTRACK project initial simulation

Location: TU Delft campus, Jaffalaan 5, 2628BX Delft

iTRACK project initial simulation took place between 16th to 20th of April at the of Technical University of Delft. Around 50 participants from project partners' organizations, volunteers and external experts took part in the simulation event.

The objective of this simulation was to implement a computer-aided simulation of the integrated system with simulated threats based on the simulations methodology, scenarios design and set-up. The simulation included real-world elements and facilitated testing of usability of the wearable and handheld devices and sensors. At the same time, the simulation served as training and test of the iTRACK procedures and processes together and the Beta-release of the iTRACK platform. The focus was on testing technical functionalities, use of the iTRACK system, and potential improvements of the platform towards the final release.

Through the simulation and testing iTRACK presented the abilities of the iTRACK system to humanitarian organisation, which were able to try the system live as well as share their experience from the field with our developers. The simulation was a great success and we are looking forward to see you in our final event next year!
